For the fifth consecutive year, Harlequin is to exhibit at CHASE – the Charities and Associations Event.

  • Where: Business Design Centre, London, N1 0QH
  • When: 17 & 18 February 2015

Once again, the Harlequin team will be exhibiting at CHASE. Visit stand 24 for a demonstration of the Harlequin CRM, fundraising, charity accounting and membership management software and collect a portfolio of client case studies. Delegates attend free and can choose from 60 free seminars for charity and association professionals.

Now in its 23rd year, CHASE, the leading business to business event for charities and associations, has launched free online registration for the 2015 event. Known for its focus on the challenges faced by third sector professionals, the event promises a programme that will examine all the latest tools, techniques and practices in the sector, according to Michael Webb, Director of Conference House, the organising body behind CHASE.

“For both charities and associations today’s landscape is really quite complex” Webb said today. “Charities face new challenges in every area of their operations. In recent years, donors have become much more pro-active about how and why they give, and fundraisers must respond creatively. New technology offers new opportunities, but the scope of options can be confusing. Risk and regulations management is changing, especially in areas like fraud prevention and data protection. Charities are having to do more with less, meet all these challenges, and ensure that their service delivery remains excellent at the same time.”

Seminars this year have been selected to enrich delegates’ understanding in these areas and many more, with plenty of practical case studies and notable speakers included in the mix.

Key seminar titles include:

• Why Victim Support Become the First Charity to Create its Own Crowdfunding Platform (Joanna Felgate, Victim Support).
• “Better by Design” CLIC Sargent’s Strategic Business Improvement Programme. (Sherine Wheeler, CLIC
• Sargent).
• Is Information Security a Concern? Taking a Flexible Risk-Based Approach to Securing Your Data (David Shearman, Security Dialog).
• Find Out about Digital Fundraising Using eBay (Nick Aldridge, PayPal Giving Fund).
• Associations 2020 (Norman Rose, Institute of Association Management).
• Risk Management and Assessing the Risk of Fraud (Eric Hindson and Alistair Duke, PKF Littlejohn).
• Against the Clock: Efficient, Secure Data Handling Could Save a Life (Caroline Portlock, Blood Cancer UK and Lilah Walker, Adetiq).

Delegates can choose from seminar streams covering associations and membership, fundraising and marketing, technology, finance, compliance and leadership. In addition a busy exhibition floor will provide the chance to explore and compare innovative services, seeking out the best solutions to drive organisational success. Visit Harlequin on stand 24.
