ACWW selects Harlequin to manage global membership

Approaching its 85th year, ACWW selects Harlequin CRM to manage global membership

International membership charity, Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW) has invested in charity management software from Harlequin to unite information, facilitate relationships and track funded projects – and co-ordinate its Triennial Conference.

ACWW has 456 member societies and 1,958 individual members in 75 countries throughout the world. In 2015 the ACWW will celebrate its 85th Anniversary, including 68 years as a consultative NGO at the United Nations, and so has accumulated a wealth of expertise and information.

Tish Collins, Operations Manager at ACWW explains: “Harlequin provides an excellent and cost effective method of managing the diverse contacts of our international charity. We aim to join up our datasets to manage relationships of individual and society members.  We want to keep track of donations and sponsors, thanking them appropriately, and record details and progress of the projects we fund in developing countries.

“I have worked with Harlequin CRM before at Lichfield Cathedral and am delighted to be able to introduce it at ACWW.  I know it will streamline our operations, take away the need for double and triple data entry, which will reduce the opportunity for error,  and help us keep track of the many vital connections which a charity coming in to its 85th year has built up.”

In addition to the core CRM system, ACWW has invested in the events module from Harlequin.

Tish Collins continues: “Our next Triennial Conference takes place in 2016 and Central Office will use Harlequin to record complex registration and accommodation requirements and payments, ensuring our communication with delegates, speakers and visitors is smooth and efficient.”

The ACWW is also evaluating Harlequin’s charitable accounts software to achieve a completely integrated charity CRM, membership, fundraising and finance solution in the future.

Tom Ellis, Managing Director of Harlequin concludes:  “Tish brings a comprehensive and dynamic understanding of how to maximise information, processes and relationships to ACWW. We are looking forward to delivering an integrated and future-proof system to enhance the work of this influential, international charity for many more years to come.”
