Getting Back To Business

Hi Everyone

Harlequin is gearing up for a very busy period in the last third of the year with several projects being launched and plans being put into place.

First up, we are delighted to announce the return of Gemma James to the team after 3 years away.  She hit the ground running on her return last week.  Gemma greatly strengthens both the support and development side to our work, and I know she is immensely popular with the customers.  It’s great to have her back.

During lockdown we have been running on-line training sessions and presentations and we now wish to expand on these.  Dom will be sending out a list of upcoming, bite-sized courses shortly covering topics such as Events, Queries, Integrations etc.  If you would like to join one of these sessions please contact Dom or drop an email to enquiries@harlequinsoftware.co.uk.

Obviously, our User Groups and Workshops have had to be curtailed for the time being so, again, utilising on-line tools, during September we will be inviting clients to join Teams User Groups.  Nearly as good, and no travelling to the venue, but sadly no lunch provided.  These group meetings will lead to the building of an itinerary of elements to add to the next upgrade.  Upgrades will be more regimentally scheduled, and we plan to issue one every quarter commencing early January.

On the 1st September we are launching a Facebook Group purely for Harlequin clients to air ideas, share thoughts etc.  This will mark the start of a more proactive approach in using social media.

Our web site will be refreshed and updated regularly.  In short, there is to be a much stronger marketing and interactive presence.

We plan to utilise more services within Microsoft Azure which will offer our customers more flexibility to choose to move to cloud-based technologies.

Overall, the new Harlequin Development Team, under the tutelage of Dave Pinchin, are excited by the challenge of the forthcoming months as the company drives towards new goals with a strength of purpose.
