Harlequin & Rapidata form strategic partnership

Harlequin & Rapidata confirm strategic partnership to enhance charity services

Charity database company Harlequin and regular giving specialist Rapidata have joined forces in a strategic partnership to offer Direct Debit payments, online fundraising and mobile services to users of Harlequin CRM, fundraising and accounting software.

Martin Hills, Head of Business Development at Harlequin comments:  “Our partnership with Rapidata is part of our strategy to offer integrated, best of breed solutions to charities.  Rather than developing every service in-house, we believe it is wiser to work with well-established and trusted providers – that are specialists in their field and experienced with not-for-profits.”

Developers at both companies are working on integration processes to connect Harlequin’s software with the range of technical services offered by Rapidata, including Direct Debits, eDirectDebit, card payments, online and mobile fundraising services for website donation pages, event registration and participant management, and peer-to-peer fundraising across social media.

Martin Hills continues: “As well as offering essential tools for Regular Giving, we are particularly excited about how Rapidata will help our clients with online fundraising.  For example, we are aware of an increasing demand for branded online donation pages that link to the backend CRM system – our clients will now be able to have this.”

Scott Gray, managing director at Rapidata concludes, “Harlequin clients will have ready access to the secure services offered by Rapidata, which will enhance many aspects of their operational performance around donation, event or membership management, and the service they offer to their supporters.  We are delighted to be partnering with another award-winning company that shares our commitment to benefiting the charity sector with outstanding solutions.”
