Harlequin widely recommended by hospital charities

Harlequin increases its reputation as the go-to software supplier for hospital charities with five more NHS organisations signing up so far this year – with most opting for both Harlequin CRM and Harlequin Charitable Accounting.

Helen Higginson, Charity Fundraising Manager at Warrington & Halton Hospitals’ Charity explains its investment: “Harlequin came highly recommended. In our research, we approached other NHS charities who confirmed that the software is clearly versatile and easy to use; other comments were that customer service and follow up support are commendable.”

Since going live on the CRM and Charitable Accounting software, Helen relays that indeed: “The system, customer care and technical support are great – Harlequin is to be recommended.”

Anne Chengo, Technical Accountant at Three Wishes, the charity for Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Hospitals, says: “We chose Harlequin based on the amount of good feedback we heard and the positive press it gets from users – also because it is an easy-to-use, all-over package for both charity CRM and Charitable Accounting.”

Lindsay Woodward, Charitable Funds Manager at Leicestershire Partnership Trust explains why they chose Harlequin: “The functionality available, and integration between the CRM and Charitable Accounting systems, was exactly what we needed. The team at Harlequin have been extremely easy to work with from day one.”

Since rolling out Harlequin, Lindsay feels confident: “As our charity enters its next phase, we have the software behind us to ensure that we are able to maximise every opportunity to generate support for our cause and to ultimately improve the care we deliver to our patients.”

The Royal Berks Charity and the St Helens & Knowsley Hospitals Charitable Fund have also recently chosen software from Harlequin.

Tom Ellis, Managing Director of Harlequin comments: “We are very proud to work with over 50 hospital charities. More and more hospital charities are undertaking high profile fundraising campaigns and large scale events, whilst managing daily ward donations and regular appeals – so specialist software is essential. The integration between our Charitable Accounting and CRM software is a big attraction for the hospital charity market, especially as our roots stem from hospital charity finance – and of course all types of charities can benefit from this integration.”

These latest five hospital charities to invest in Harlequin, join, among others, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Charitable Funds, Sheffield Hospitals Charity and Southampton Hospital Charity.
