Harlequin shortlisted for Best Database PiFA 2015

Harlequin shortlisted for best charity database supplier in IoF Partners in Fundraising Awards 2015

Charity software supplier, Harlequin has been shortlisted for ‘Best Database Supplier’ in the Institute of Fundraising’s (IoF) Partners in Fundraising Awards (PiFAs) 2015 being held in London in January. Harlequin’s nomination showcases two long term partnerships with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC).

Harlequin’s 2015 shortlist-success follows on from the charity CRM and fundraising software company winning ‘Best Database Supplier’ in 2014 with its 10 year partnership with Alder Hey Children’s Charity – which was decided by IoF member votes. In 2015 the awards are being decided by a panel of judges chaired by Kevin Kibble, CEO of the Nurture Group Network and IoF Trustee.

IoF Individual members are invited to vote in just one 2015 award, the ‘Most Committed Company to the Sector’ category, with all winners being announced at the ceremony taking place on 29 January 2015 at The Grange St. Paul’s in London. Once again, Harlequin will host a table for staff and clients.

Peter Lewis, IoF CEO, said: “The Partners in Fundraising Awards are now firmly established as the pre-eminent event for recognising and rewarding the valuable contribution made by businesses in helping the charity sector raise vital funds.  Truly great partners in fundraising inject inspiration, drive and expertise whilst facilitating innovation, sustainability and creativity. Importantly, the right collaborator can be the difference between success and failure.”

Tom Ellis, Managing Director of Harlequin, comments: “It is testament to the hard work of all the team that we have been shortlisted for ‘Best Database Supplier’ in the PiFAs for a second year. At Harlequin we aim to build long-term relationships with all our clients to help them make them make the most of their software so they can maximise fundraising.  Even though member votes are not deciding the outcome of the ‘Best Database Supplier’ award in 2015, we are delighted that our commitment to the NFP sector has once again been recognised. Special thanks must go to RMHC and FNHC for featuring in our nomination.”
